The SRM IST NCR family magnificently celebrated PRERNA DIWAS, the Birthday celebrations of our Hon'ble Founder Chancellor, from 17th to 24th August. The whole week was a whirlwind of exhilarating activities that captured the tribute by the Delhi NCR fraternity to our Hon'ble Founder Chancellor.
The week long celebrations began with the welcome of more than 150 underprivileged children in the campus. Following the footsteps of Hon’ble Founder Chancellor Sir The Director NCR, welcomed, interacted and distributed study materials to the underprivileged children from Jaya Prayaas Foundation, Indirapuram, Manav Mandir Mission, New Delhi, Bal Seva Samiti, Modinagar and Primary School, Village Sounda . Various cultural and sports activities were conducted throughout the week to ignite the spark of competition in the students.
The day of the birthday brought the wave of smiles, positivity, enthusiasm, and motivation as the Chief Guest Dr. Surakshit Goswami highlighted the importance of mental and physical well-being for successful society. The special guest Dr. R. K. Khandal wiggled everyone with his charismatic words and asked the youth to imbibe the principles of Hon’ble Founder Chancellor Sir and carve their own original story. The Director NCR payed a biographical and emotional tribute to the Visionary Founder Chancellor, The Guardian of Destitute.
